“A Smile a Day” feels like a snapshot of ease and lightheartedness. With its intense, almost wild colors in the background, the image gives off an energy that’s both raw and playful. „A Smile a Day“ ist wie eine Momentaufnahme der Leichtigkeit und Unbeschwertheit. Mit diesen intensiven, fast schon wilden Farben im Hintergrund vermittelt das Bild eine Energie, die gleichzeitig roh und spielerisch wirkt. Die Frau, lässig im Zentrum des Ganzen, wird von weißen Konturen umrissen, die sie wie eine Art Pop-Ikone hervorheben. Der rot-weiße Hintergrund bildet dazu den perfekten Kontrast, fast als würde sie in einem abstrakten Mosaik baden. Das Werk hat einen gewissen Street-Art-Charme und bleibt dennoch stilvoll – als wolle es sagen: Kunst kann auch Spaß machen.
